ARTIST BIO

Danielle Correia is an interdisciplinary artist who received her BFA in Photography & Sculpture from the University of Montana in 1998. Soon after, she discovered encaustic and has been incorporating it into her work ever since.  She has lectured at The Gay & Lesbian Community Center in New York City, & has taught encaustic classes in private and public studios from Florida to Alaska.  She co-developed workshops in photography and encaustic technique, which she has been teaching since 2004. Her work has been featured in group and solo shows regionally and nationally.
